It’s amazing how fast they grow and how you can see your baby change into a little boy or little girl in the blink of an eye. An older baby session is perfect for those with little ones that are above 8 weeks and missed for different reasons their newborn session. The older baby session is the perfect opportunity to capture your baby while they are still ‘new’! In this session we will try to pose the baby like a newborn with some limitations as the babies are not as flexible, sleepy, and comfortable naked as a newborn.

As most of the baby will be awake and the probability of him falling asleep decreases older they are. I will pose baby on the bean bag with a lovely wrap and or a bodysuit and in some props. Not all props can be used for older babies as they are too little, but I have a wide variety that can be used for older babies as well. These sessions are much shorter than my newborn sessions because we aren’t aiming for baby to fall asleep during this session like we would for a newborn session so typically, once baby’s essential needs are met they are often very happy to get straight into modelling and therefore don’t need as much warm up time.

Please don’t feel like because you missed the newborn window you have missed your chance to have gorgeous photos of your baby while they are still small. My older baby sessions are a lovely celebration of your child and welcoming them into your family, capturing their details that will still be changing so fast! From their chubby cheeks, longer eyelashes, sweet smiles, their beautiful hair and how small they still are and how perfectly they fit in your arms.

I recommend these sessions to take place up to 4 months old, any baby older than that would be better suited for the sitter sessions.

I understand the importance of making the services accessible and affordable for everyone. To accommodate my clients’ needs, I have implemented a convenient payment option that splits the photo session price into two installments.

The first installment is due at the time of booking, securing your session and confirming your appointment. The second installment is scheduled for payment after the session, allowing you to experience the session fully before completing the remaining payment. This approach aims to ease any financial burden.

The first payment is the Session Fee of 1700 Kr which includes the time of the session, props and all the details described above.

The session will be secured only after the payment of the Session Fee is made.

The second payment is for your Digital Package and is scheduled approximately 1 week after your session, coinciding with the receipt of your gallery invitation email. After previewing this gallery you will be asked to choose your favourites photos. The amount of photos you chose will be invoiced according to the digital packages listed bellow.
