As early as you can in your pregnancy. We typically schedule a due date during the pregnancy, aiming to confirm exact scheduling within 1-2 days after birth. The optimal time slot for newborn sessions is within the first 6-12 days of life. Beyond this, around 12-14 days, babies may experience gripes, and at 18-21 days, growth spurts can occur, complicating sessions. My cutoff is around 6 weeks; sessions beyond this may be better postponed until after 3 months, as babies become less flexible, sleep less, and are more sensitive to stimuli. Although mornings are often preferred, I’ve found beautiful results even in evening sessions.

For optimal newborn photography, the ideal window is typically between 7 and 21 days after birth. Secure your session in advance by booking early. We’ll tentatively schedule your session for 10-21 days following your due date, with flexibility to adjust if your baby arrives sooner or later than expected.

Newborn sessions are held at my studio located in Stockholm, Porlabacken 35. The studio is fully equipped with essential amenities, including a changing table, wet wipes, and hand sanitizer for your convenience. Additionally, I provide backup diapers and sterilized pacifiers in case you need them during the session.

The number of photos depends on the package that you wish to acquire. If you are interested in acquiring more photos, you may purchase additional photos.
